What is Xero?

Xero is an internet based, easy to use accounting system that makes it simple and quick to keep all your finances up to date.

Because Xero is on-line it means that as your accountants we can login to check your accounts, answer questions, provide advice and run reports in real time from your data.

Xero handles all your invoicing, expenses, bank account reconciliations, and VAT returns. Xero then helps us to produce your final accounts at year end.

There are two versions available:

• Accountants edition - this is ideal for smaller cash based businesses. Stripped of Accounts Receivable and Payable you see the bank based functionality that is relevant to you. As your accountant, we retain the full functionality of Xero enabling us to make any adjustments as necessary. This also allows for more efficient production of accounts preparation at  year end. This is available from £9 plus VAT per month (you can upgrade to the full edition at any time as your business grows and further functions are required).

• Full edition - this gives full access to all functions of the system, providing a comprehensive, user friendly and very powerful accounting solution. This is available from £19 plus VAT per month.

Both versions allow us access (once invited by the user) to your current records in real time for any analysis or adjustments as required.
